Thanks for a Great Fall Festival!

We had an incredible turnout for the MVES Fall Festival last week, and we want to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, or supported our biggest event of the year!

This year's event featured a petting zoo, a trackless train, an airbrush tattoo artist, inflatables, and a variety of festive games.

Thanks to our Room Parents and teachers for providing fun carnival games for the kids to enjoy! Without all your hard work, Fall Festival would not be the same. The entire front sidewalk was covered with children enjoying the fruit of your labors. Also, thanks so much to all the parents who donated candy and prizes for this big event!

We also greatly appreciate our many THS volunteers. The festival setup and teardown would be much harder without the help of these hardworking teens.

We want to give a special thank you to all of the vendors who participated in the event and created such a fun experience with food, drink, and shopping. You made it a night to remember!

A big thank you goes out to Amstar Cinemas for donating popcorn, to Cedar Creek Nursery for the beautiful mums used to decorate, and Rose Office Systems for delivering the giant hay bales and How Tall this Fall sign.

More hay was provided by Mike Kent and local haymaker, Mr Clifton, to make it extra festive!

People often overlook exactly how many small details go into an event as big as the MVES Fall Festival. Lighting up a space this large is a huge challenge. We appreciate County Commissioner Jon Parker, Rose Office Systems, Inc. and the City of Alabaster for helping us to light up the night and keep everyone safe.

Thanks to our SRO, Officer Ryan Hand, along with Jeremy Bryan and Justin Brown for handling the parking for such a huge event. Also a huge shoutout to our MVES Custodians, Mr. Charles and Mr. Keiron, for all the hard work they put in! We also appreciate the Alabaster Fire Department for sending a fire truck and allowing students to take a tour.

Most of all, thank you to ALL the members of our incredible MVES PTO! It takes a lot of hard work to prepare for this event so all of your effort is truly appreciated. Knowing that we provided core childhood memories for 1,000+ kids in our community makes all the sore muscles worth it.

Thanks again for supporting Meadow View Elementary School and the MVES PTO!
