Avoid Kona Ice Confusion

There will be 4 prepaid Kona days this year. A few days prior, you'll receive a Ziploc and your class roll showing prepaid students. On the morning of Kona, please return all money along with your form in the Ziploc. PTO counts all money before Kona begins, so please turn it in promptly to avoid confusion.

Copy and edit the Google Slide here and return to us as a PDF so your Room Parent can share with your class. Email your completed PDF to MVESWarriors@gmail.com.

Send out Forms to Parents

Throughout the year, PTO will stuff your boxes with paper communication. Please distribute to your students as soon as you receive it.

Start Planning your Fall Festival Booth

Fall Festival will be Thursday, October 5th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Classrooms will share a booth like in past years. Room Parents can help assign volunteers and gather supplies. Look for more info soon!

Linda McCormick Teacher Grants

MVES PTO is so excited to offer Linda McCormick Grants for eligible teachers again this year!

Linda McCormick Grants are a chance for you to receive funding for specific items that will benefit your classroom or the school as a whole. Traditionally, individual grants have been awarded up to $250 with a few exceptions that benefited the entire student body.

Grants will be reviewed by the PTO Board and MVES Administration for careful consideration. Awarded amounts will be based on several factors, including the number of students that will benefit, total project cost and any grants or personal development funding a teacher has previously received.

Only teachers who are current PTO members are eligible to apply for this grant.
